Michael Novy tears apart Melbourne’s Urbn Surf in his new film “Concrete Aquatica”.

The project was filmed by Tyge Landa over a 2 hour strike mission to Victoria’s concrete wave destination, surfing an hour on the right at night, and an hour on the left the next morning.

Novy was hyped to finally get the surf the pool. “It’s such a surreal experience catching waves in chlorinated water, at night under lights and with a concrete bottom. It’s such a functional cool experience, and it makes you pretty excited to think about the future of man made waves.”
